There are times when Clinics may not be seeing patients due to vacation Or closed days.
For medical consultation, make sure you take your Health Insurance Card with you and present it at the time of registration at The reception desk.
If you do not have your Health Insurance Card, you will be expected to pay the entire fee for medical Services rendered.
If you bring your Health Insurance Card to the hospital at a later date, however, the medical fee covered by Your Health Insurance will be returned to you.

Either “Employer’s Health Insurance” or “National Health Insurance” is available during your stay in Japan. You should carry One or the other.

If it’s your first time visiting a particular clinic, go to the counter and say ‘Shinki no kanji desu.’・ If you’ve been before, say ‘Onegaishimasu.
You will usually be asked to fill out a registration form with your contact information and pertinent medical history. When you are talking to the Doctor, please speak slowly.
